In this episode, Mr Andrew Duckworth interviews Dr Noam Shohat, who is the lead author of one of the articles published in this supplement. The article "Fructosamine is a better glycaemic marker compared with glycated haemoglobin (HbA1C) in predicting adverse outcomes following total knee arthroplasty: a prospective multicentre study" was the recipient of the 2019 John Insall award.

The article "A multicentre randomized clinical trial of tranexamic acid in revision total knee arthroplasty: does the dosing regimen matter?" was the recipient of the 2019 Mark Coventry award.
This video is an excellent introduction for residents and review for new practicing surgeons of the basic intraoperative reduction techniques and tools one can use to restore alignment of distal radius fractures. The video presents techniques in conjunction with fixation using a volar locking plate, however, the techniques have a wide range of applications in different fixation approaches as well.
